The pair have built an alarm service and installation company whose customers are like family. Ernie Gambone, went into the alarm business in 1973 and was employed by Robinson Alarm in Philadelphia as an apprentice. When he became service manager Gambone hired Peter Bonsera in 1983. A decade later Gambone left the company and Bonsera assumed his job as service manager. The company was subsequently sold.
In October 1999, Bonsera and Gambone decided to start their own alarm company with the purpose and objective to provide a personalized service. They opened in a small office in Southhampton, Pa. Within three months they had more than 100 customers and were compelled to hire their first employee. They never anticipated growing so quickly.
